Swamplands of Selfishness

How do I get through the sinking quicksand?

You must keep moving...don't stop! And if you can, avoid it by going around it.

How do I get through the Poison Pond -- I keep dying?

You cannot make it through this until you have a certain object. (Big Hint: PU-REWOP HTLAEH REPUS EHT TEG)

What should I do in the Plain of Things?

You can find power-ups and possibly other objects here (if you did not get certain ones in the third level).

What do I do in the Garbage Dump?

You must find the moving garbage area and get through it. You can find power-ups on the top of garbage heaps.

How do I get through the Moving Garbage -- it keeps crushing me?

You can get through this -- you just have to keep going. Remember to run...by using SHIFT. (Big Hint: GNISOLC SI TAHT EGDE EHT SDRAWOT NUR).

In the Moving Garbage, I get to the point where it crushes me on both sides --
and I can't get through that!

You can get through it...just don't go the direct way. (Big Hint: PU KCAB NEHT EMOS NI OG)

Where is the scroll for this scroll door in the Swamplands?

It is near the beginning of the level where you started. Go to the the quicksand area and you will find it at the end. If you aren't sure where the quicksand area is, when you first start the game, you reach an intersection. Take a left and you'll be there.

Ruins of Pride

What is there to do along the long pathway?

Just fight the enemies, get the powerups and get through it.

What do I do at the ruined hollow buildings area?

You need to find a scroll here. Plus there are power-ups. (Big Hint: GNIDLIUB DENIUR A FO POT NO SI LLORCS EHT)

What do I do at the slanted ruin structures ?

You need to explore and find power-ups, scrolls, and a scroll door.

Where is the scroll door here?

It is found in the slanted ruins.

Which scroll is needed for the scroll door?

You need to find the scroll in the swamp lands. (Big Hint: DNOP NOSIOP EHT NI KOOL)

How can I cross the chasm in the towers area ?

You need to find a way to bridge the chasm. (Big Hint: LLIH EHT FO POT NO KCOR EHT HSUP)

Paths of Perseverance

I cannot make it through very far, what do I need to do?

You need to be very strong here and fight efficiently and wisely. You can gain in your abilities if you go to the altar in the tower area.

How can I get past the place with all of those Arrogant enemies?

You can get through this by brute force. You need to be wise and skillful. Do not try to attack them all at once. Most helpful will be sword launcher ammo. It is found throughout this level -- but mostly in secret areas.

What do I do in the room with slits in the walls?

You need to avoid the slits/holes in the wall. Carefully going through this room and either jumping or ducking should get you through. Note the trigger points for each too.

I am lost in the really dark area?

Just go until you hit a wall. You can see a little ways if you fire your weapon. You can also use the map and see where the enemy is and comes from..

Temple of the Heart

How can I open the gate door?

You must find a way to open it. There is no key. You can find another way in.

I cannot get up the scaffolding -- help!

You can get up the scaffolding. You must jump your way up it. And then maneuver around. One of the jumps requires a running and precise jump.

I cannot get past the Courtyard area...it is too hard.

It can be really tough here. You need to be fully equipped and strengthened. If you still struggle, follow this: (Big Hint: EFIL FO REVIR EHT OTNI OG)

What do I do in the Garden area?

You can get through it and find some special items. (Big Hint: PEED NEDDIH SI ERUSAERT)

Where is the key to open the faith door?

It is found in the Swamplands of Selfishness past the scroll door.

How can I get to the scroll door in the Faith Room?

You need faith -- literally. (Big Hint: GNIPMUJ YRT TSUJ)

Where is the scroll to open the scroll door in the Faith Room?

It is found in the Ruins of Pride. It is across the chasm.

Where is the key to open the hope door?

It is found in the Ruins of Pride past the scroll door.

What do I do in the Dream Land area?

You can find some valuable things here.

What do I do in the Vault of Secrets?

You can find a scroll door.

Where is the key to open a vault door?

You need to look inside your heart. (Big Hint: DENEPO EB TONNAC SROOD ESEHT)

Where is the key to open the love door?

This is found in the Faith room past the scroll door.

Where is the scroll to open the scroll door in the Vault of Secrest?

It is found in the Temple of the Heart. You must have opened every other scroll door first.

Overall

Where are the secret areas?

This level has several secret areas. Here are some clues:- one is in the swamplands, several are in the ruins of pride, and one is in the temple of the heart.

Can I find a new weapon or a power-up for my current weapon?

No, unless you did not get the sword launcher from the previous level then you will be able to find it by exploring the Swamps. What is important to find in the last level is the ammo for the Sword Launcher. Many of these ammo are hidden in secret areas. Then only use the Sword Launcher wisely and conserve your ammo until you really need it.
