In life there are some serious "core" issues that
each of us must face, wrestle with, and ultimately answer.
We developed Saints of Virtue with the viewpoint that the
player is a Christian.
While the game can be enjoyed by anyone, it has far greater
meaning and depth for the Christian. If you do have some questions
about the core issues of life, we offer to answer them here
and also provide resources to other websites that do.
The game itself covers ssues such as Apathy, Legalism, New
Age thinking, Sanctification, and others and if you want to
explore those issues that are in the game , go
here.
Explore these questions:
- Who is God?
- Why is the Bible important?
- What is a Christian?
- Why believe?
If you have questions about God, Jesus Christ, faith, the Bible,
we would be happy to answer them for you. Please write us at
Saints E-mail.

Who
is God?
In the world today, many people have different opinions of God.
Most people do believe in a god, whether it is in an unknowable
force or a real being. We believe that God does exist, He created
the world and all that is in it and He continues sustaining
the world and all that is in it. We believe God created us to
be in His image and He desires a personal relationship with
each one of us. God has revealed Himself through three different
divine persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit. He is the God of the Bible that is alive and working
in the world today.
To get an understanding of God, we offer the following links

Why
is the Bible important?
We believe the Bible is the most important book on earth because
it is God's word to mankind. The Bible is more than just a history
book or has good teachings -- it contains His divine truth.
We believe that through the Bible, we can learn and grow in
our relationship with God.
One thing remarkable about the Bible is that it is a text
that has carried on for thousands and thousands of years.
Archaelogistis and scientists continue to find strong evidence
of its historicity(dates and ages are correct), validity(what
happened in the Bible did happen) and consistency(the
Bible has not been changed or altered to fit any.

What
is a Christian?
While many people claim to be Christians because they go to
church or they believe in God or they read the Bible, a true
Christian is one who is a follower of Jesus Christ. To be a
follower of Jesus Christ, you need to have a personal relationship
with Jesus. This personal relationship starts when you
fully place your trust in Him. Instead of believing that you
can save yourself or be good enough to get into heaven, you
have to trust that the Jesus is the only way to get into heaven.
See, the problem is that no one can get into heaven unless
they are perfect. Unfortunately, we all sin...we sin many
times throughout our life. That sin, separates us from God.
So, Jesus came down from heaven and was a human (fully human,
fully God) and became the only acceptable sacrifice. So, if
you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins,
then you receive the gift of eternal life. It's simply trusting
in what Jesus did. But you have to fully trust in what Jesus
did, not believe that somehow you must be good enough too.
The following are different views on the question, What is
a Christian?

Why
believe?
God wants us to believe not only that He exists, but that we
can have eternal life. That is why He gave us the Bible and
the church. God loves each and every one of us...no matter how
many bad things we have done or who we are. He offers a way
to know Him and spend eternity with Him. If we do not choose
to have a relationship with God, unfortunately, He is a "just"
God. What this means is -- those who are not acceptable in His
sight (those not considered perfect) go to an everlasting punishment.
We all do wrong actions, speak wrong words, lie, have sinful
thoughts. Big and little sins. If we choose to be apart from
God, we can. We will get what we deserve. But if we believe
in God and in His Son, we can become acceptable to God. Then,
we can have a relationship with Him and everything can get so
much better. Your life can be complete and full and have meaning
and purpose. No longer just getting through life and following
the ways of the world...instead God starts working on changing
you and showing you a far better path in life. One that is fulfilling
and meaningful.
